It enrages me, it really does. It literally gets me into a frenzied spiral of destruction each and every time I watch an American comedy and they constantly reference American shows/celebritys that most of the world haven't heard about.
Here's a quick guess at some statistics -
Population of America = 250 million
Population of the world = 7 billion.
That's 27/28ths of the world which won't get those jokes. Sort your demographics out guys, seriously.
If I should ever get to the position where I can make my own shows I'm gonna have to constantly reference Coronation Street, Hollyoaks and Eastenders, then we'll see how they like it.
